Santa makes a last-minute stop to Fox Valley

12 December 2022

With Christmas just around the corner, the team at Fox Valley are getting into the festive spirit and have reached out to Santa to ask him to make a special trip to Fox Valley before he starts his busy schedule.

Santa will be making his visit this weekend [December 17 & 18], from 1pm to 4pm.

Young visitors will be able to meet Santa in the festive Grotto, located in the fountain area at Fox Valley. There will be a £5 donation per child, which is payable on the day, with all proceeds going to the Wortley Rotary Club to support local charities.

Throughout the two days there will be live entertainment from local singers and the Waldershelf choir to get shoppers into the festive spirit.

On Sunday, the centre will also be hosting a Makers Market with lots of local artisan traders, offering an array of Christmas gift ideas and food delights.

Centre Manager for Fox Valley, Claire Biltcliffe, said: “We are delighted to be working with the team from the Wortley Rotary Club to bring Father Christmas to Fox Valley and to raise lots of money for local good causes.”

“We have lots of fun festivities going on this weekend, so it is the perfect time to come and grab those last-minute Christmas presents”

If you’re looking for a special treat this Christmas, Sandersons Boutique are currently hosting their biggest sale yet, with up to 50% off their biggest designer brands including Barbour, Holland Cooper, Ugg, Grand Sasso and Penny Black.
