Get into the festive spirit at the Fox Valley Christmas market

Shoppers will have the chance to pick up a bargain for a
loved one this Christmas at Fox Valley's bumper weekend of markets.
The popular Stocksbridge-based shopping centre will be
hosting the regular Friday pop-up market between 10am and 3pm, which features
several stalls including fresh fish from Joseph Cliff Fishmongers and handmade
crochet items from Gifts of Love, among others.
Then we will be hosting a special festive-themed weekend of
markets on Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1.
The event will feature a wide range of traders including
Zoe’s Sweet Treats, The Sheffield Gift Co. and Pink Flamingo among many
others.
In addition, the recently opened House of Chester doggy deli
will also be open selling tasty treats for your canine friends.
This Friday also marks Black Friday – and a number of shops
will be offering exclusive discount deals, including Sandersons Department
Store.
Furthermore, The Old George café has recently opened, giving
shoppers another option in addition to Costa, Ponti’s and Zorro Lounge to call
in somewhere for a drink and a bite to eat.
Charlotte Whittaker, Centre Manager at Fox Valley, said:
“This promises to be a fantastic bumper weekend of markets with stalls full of
a wide range of brilliant gifts that would make a perfect present for a loved
one.
“This is also a chance to see our centre’s fantastic
Christmas lights, which have been really popular with shoppers since they were
switched on a couple of weeks ago.”
The festive fun will continue at Fox Valley right up until
the big day.
We will be hosting another makers market between December 6
and 8 between 10am and 3pm, during which talented makers will showcase their
handcrafted goods.
Then, the annual Bradfield Christmas Tractor Run – which will
feature about 100 illuminated tractors - will depart from Fox Valley on Sunday,
December 15, with a build up from 4pm.
And visitors to the centre will get to see Santa in his
Sleigh on Christmas Eve as Wortley Rotary Club will be starting their
traditional Christmas Eve Tour from Fox Valley from around 2:30pm.
The Fox Valley car park offers four hours free parking with
all day parking available for just £5.
The centre team is always on the lookout for new independent
traders to join their regular weekly and monthly markets.
