Fox Valley announces music line up for upcoming annual Food Festival

22 May 2023

The team at Fox Valley shopping centre is preparing for the annual Food Festival next month, taking place across two days on the 17th and 18th June.

The free weekend event, which has been jointly supported by Stockbridge Town Council and Barratt and David Wilson Homes, will be packed with family fun, delivering a fantastic line-up of live music and over 50 local producers and street food traders.

Mayor of Stocksbridge, Cllr. Mark Whittaker, will be opening the event on Saturday at 11am with a fantastic line-up of musical entertainment from local bands and performers including Olivia Tingle, Emilia Hill, Eletto and Enis Bakolli taking to the stage on Saturday and music from Stephen Mone, Lee Bailey and Sing Strum on Sunday.

Fox Valley’s Centre Manager, Claire Biltcliffe, said: “We are really looking forward to hosting our annual Food Festival, it is one of the centre’s biggest events of the year and we always welcome a great line up of regional food producers and caterers.

“As well as food stands, visitors can expect to find a packed programme of live music spanning the weekend both inside the music tipi and in the fountain area when the Valley Music Festival takes this space over for their annual showcase of local talent.”

The centre’s adopted charity, Sheffield Churches Council for Community Care, will be hosting their popular children’s craft workshops building awareness and raising vital funds for their services within the community.

A bar area, free face painting and children’s fairground rides will also be on offer throughout the weekend, ensuring there is something for the whole family to enjoy.

The outdoor event is fully dog friendly and there will be plenty of doggy traders on hand for pet owners to spoil their pooches such as Flossy’s Dog Goodies with their natural dog treats, handmade snuffle mats, balls and tugs, and Daisy Dules Designs with their matching dog accessories.
