Excitement builds for Fox Valley Food Festival as live music line up, headline sponsor and media partners are announced

3 June 2024

The live music line up, headline sponsor and media partner for the popular Fox Valley Food Festival can be announced today.

Excitement is building for this year’s event and we are proud to announce Kitchen Connections Ltd as our headline sponsor, while Penistone FM will also be our official media partners for the free-to-attend festival, which will once again take place this summer at Fox Valley shopping centre on Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16.

In addition, we can also reveal the full live music line up that will keep visitors entertained across both days.

Headline sponsor Kitchen Connections Ltd – an established family run company with more than 20 years’ worth of experience in the home renovation industry - recently moved from Dore to Maria House, just off the roundabout at the entrance to Fox Valley.

Owner Wayne Rayworth said: “We jumped at the chance to sponsor the Food Festival, which will mean our brand name will be seen by thousands of visitors and we really hope everyone has a brilliant time.”

In addition, Penistone FM will be our official media partner for the event and will be broadcasting live from the festival on the Saturday. You can listen to them on the airwaves on FM 95.7 & 97.7 from 8am onwards.

Station Director Martin Sugden said: “It promises to be an exciting day for us as we broadcast your favourite shows, all to the backdrop of this fantastic festival of food, drink and live music.”

The fantastic live music line up will also keep everyone entertained throughout the weekend.

The Valley Music Festival will be taking over the stage on the Saturday with their ‘Music in the Piazza’ event.

And the fun will continue with even more live music on the Sunday. You can read the full line up below.

The eighth edition of the festival will include dozens of food and drink traders, children’s rides, free face painting, street entertainment, a bar area, family seating, special offers and prizes up for grabs across the weekend.

Pet lovers will also be pleased to hear that there will also be a puppy patch with agility area and themed dog-friendly refreshments.

Food stalls will include Mangiamo Street Kitchen offering pasta and gourmet sandwiches, Istanbul Kitchen serving up Turkish kebabs, Devon’s Kitchen with their delicious Jamaican food and Alvi’s Homemade Indian meals and snacks.

4eyes Patisserie will also be joining the line up with a tempting display of artisan breads, cakes, kronuts, pastries and savoury rolls and as well as Cookie Smith with their homemade cookies, cookie pies and brownies.

Providing the drinks for thirsty visitors will be the award-winning Bradfield Brewery with their wide selection of real ales and Sheffield Distillery with gin, vodka and premixed cocktails on offer.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy wine tasting and nibbles at Sandersons Boutique Store.

The event drew a huge crowd of 16, 000 people across the whole weekend last year – and organisers are expecting a similar number this year.

Abi Hilton, Centre Manager at Fox Valley, said: “This promises to be a brilliant showcase of all of the local food and drink producers we have in and around the Fox Valley. And with a full programme of live music and other fun attractions set to keep the crowds entertained, this will be an event not to be missed.”
