Customers treated to delicious canapés as part of Kitchen Connections showroom launch day at Fox Valley

7 May 2024

The first customers through the doors of a home renovation business new to Fox Valley were treated to delicious canapés as part of launch day.

Kitchen Connections Ltd opened their new showroom and office at Fox Valley shopping centre on Saturday, May 4, after relocating to Stocksbridge from Dore.

And to mark the occasion, Paul Gregory – a chef from The Pheasant in Oughtibridge – was on hand to show off how a kitchen in the showroom works while making delicious canapés to hand out to customers.

The well-established family run company has more than 20 years’ worth of experience in the industry and the team are dedicated to working alongside customers to help them realise their home renovation dreams.

Kitchen Connections Ltd can be found at Maria House, just off the roundabout at the entrance to Fox Valley shopping centre, which is owned by the award-winning Dransfield Properties Ltd.

Owner Wayne Rayworth said: “We are thrilled to be moving to Fox Valley and are looking forward to benefiting from higher footfall, excellent parking and experiencing the beautiful surroundings around the centre.

“Everyone who came along on Saturday had a great time and it was brilliant that people got to see one of our kitchens in use.

“It has been nice to see so many people come through the doors in the first few days.”

Abi Hilton, Centre Manager at Fox Valley, said: “We are happy to welcome Kitchen Connections Ltd into the Fox Valley family and I am sure visitors will look forward to seeing their home renovation dreams become a reality with the help of Wayne and the team.”

The family-run business sees Wayne’s wife and both daughters helping out with the running of the firm.  The company is also helping to launch the careers of two apprentice kitchen installers, Lewis and Jake, who are being trained up in the field of design and sales.

The company installs kitchens from as far away as Rotherham and Barnsley and supplies kitchens in Sheffield and Chesterfield.

The firm always puts a focus on attention to detail and promises to ensure every aspect of the build is completed to the highest standard, from ensuring every appliance is connected to putting the finishing touches on every cabinet door.

The company offers a wide range of top UK-based brands including Callerton, Second Nature, Caple and others, plus German brands such as Bauformat, Burger and Nobilia, plus appliances from Neff, Bosch, Siemens, Caple, Quooker and many more.

The team’s skillset and experience also extends to helping homeowners to realise their extension and renovation projects.

The store opening comes just weeks after comfortable footwear specialists Pavers opened a new shop at the centre.

In addition, Fox Valley has a packed programme of events over Spring and Summer, including the popular Food Festival on Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16.
