City Taxis announces Fox Valley partnership

City Taxis - one of the UK’s largest independent taxi firms - has announced a new partnership with Fox Valley in Stocksbridge.

The taxi company has a fleet of hundreds of drivers across the city and is now working with the Fox Valley team as the north Sheffield centre’s taxi partner.

A dedicated drop off and pick up point has been created just by the entrance to the centre, opposite Sandersons Department Store and the taxi company will service the centre which attracts thousands of shoppers and diners every week.

The new partnership has been announced following the opening of two new restaurants at the centre in addition to the popular Ponti’s Italian Kitchen Restaurant.

Centre manager Laura Robinson said: “It’s really important to us that we can work with a dedicated and reliable taxi partner here at Fox Valley to offer a reliable and efficient service to our shoppers and our diners.

“We have some great restaurants here and being able to offer a taxi pick up and drop off area is crucial to ensuring that our evening visitors as well as our day time shoppers have a great experience when they visit.”

Paul Gosney From City Taxis said: “Fox Valley is a great retail and leisure destination and the City Taxi team are delighted to be partnering the centre - look out for the taxi drop off and pick up point just by the Fox Valley bandstand.”
