Bumper Bank Holiday Weekend as Makers Market returns to Fox Valley

29 April 2024

Shoppers are in for a real treat this Bank Holiday Weekend as the popular Makers Market will return to Fox Valley.

More than 25 stalls will be up at the popular Stocksbridge-based shopping centre on Saturday and Sunday (May 4 and 5) between 10am and 3pm.

Shoppers are invited to discover a wide array of unique gifts and goods produced by talented makers from across the area.

Abi Hilton, Centre Manager at Fox Valley, said: “Everyone will be looking forward to the Bank Holiday Weekend and our Makers Market will make an ideal trip out if you’re thinking of things to do.

“We have some fantastic local independent traders selling a wide range of unique gifts and products so please come and take a look!

“It is also a chance to check out our fantastic range of shops including Sandersons Boutique Store, JoJo Maman Bébé and Sports Direct. You could also enjoy a spot of lunch at our onsite Italian, Ponti’s Italian Kitchen, or at Zorro Lounge.”

Visitors can expect to find stalls offering everything from candles (Essentially Pure Candles) and perfumes (FM by Vicky) to sweet treats (Zoe’s Sweet Treats) and jewellery (Handcrafted Jewellery by Kim).

There will even be treats for your four-legged friends from Flossy Dog Goodies, while Daisy Chain Kidz will be selling bespoke-made clothing for babies and young children, plus many more.

In addition, shoppers can check out our regular Friday pop-up market between 10am and 3pm featuring fresh fish from Joseph Cliff Fishmongers among other stalls.

Weather permitting the Sandersons Express will be available to take customers on a ride around the centre across the weekend too.

You can ride in the buggy for free Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 3pm.

The Fox Valley car park offers four hours free parking with all day parking available for just £3.50.

The centre team is always on the lookout for new independent traders to join their regular weekly and monthly markets.
